I am not going to fail

I am not going to fail

It sounded so simple yesterday!

just publish 5 pieces of content a week

Well I am determined to succeed, but it is going to take quite a bit of effort on my part, to get this serial content creation to such a stage where it automatic, in that I get an idea and I start writing and at the other end a masterpiece will appear as if by magic! If I ever achieve such nirvana it is a long way off. So now I have just got to slave away and write down what pours out of my head through my fingers and on to the page.
With page being a figiterative expression to say the least!
As I am trialling a new writing method for this project, whilst based along the general principals of how I usually write something which is:

I sit down with a A4 pad and start writing out what I want to say, followed by a rough on paper edit. I then type it up on my computer either in to a word processor such as Word or Scrivener, or directly in the edit box for a page or a post in WordPress, it I find it easier to type it in straight away, before I forget what I have written and I struggle to make sense of my own handwriting.

Taking advantage of the available spell check facilities

Wherever I type it is important I take advantage of the spellcheck facilities offered by the chosen editor. If possible I like to save what I written and do something else for bit, before proceeding on to the next step, which is to print it out and proof read it, or if it is web post preview it on the website itself. After making changes and corrections I then either publish the content, or I try print out another copy and get someone else to proof read it, this may be the client, or a friend.
Often the stuff I write never gets beyond second edit or proof reading stage as I save it to look at it later, and go onto the next thing I need to do and forgot to revisit and finish off the content creation process. So as part of this project I will be digging out some of these unfinished articles and completing the edits and publishing them if they make the grade!

So back to the new process I am trialling, which is:

Typing directly into WordPress App

Typing directly into WordPress App

Instead of writing out by hand I am typing directly in to the edit box on the WordPress app on my iPad. Basically just typing away what comes into my head paying little attention if any to the spelling and formatting of what I am writing. Once I have completed the writing I will look through and deal will the obvious spelling errors highlighted by the automatic spell check. I am going to save the article and later today revisit It on a different device to complete the editing process.

If I can leave the content for a full day before editing and finally publish the item I will.

I would appreciate any feedback on this or any other post, so thanking you in advance.
